    ricoh mp c6000

    Hello everyone,

I just joined this forum (although i have been reading it a lot) as i have a problem that seems noone can solve till now....hehehe
We have an MPC6000 installed which is quite new (100k colour 36k black).
All of a sudden the printing is a mess....Printing in colour makes the letters's edges look CMYK, meaning that i get an offset of each colour used by almost 0,001m. It wasn't doing that earlier, although the same file is used from the computer using the same software(PDF-MS Word).
This problem gets even worse when using heavier paper.Would there be any suggestions to this?

at first try sp2-111 (forced line position adjustment)

second: look for a slipping transfer belt

i will try these and let u know if it worked....
is the transfer belt anyhow related to the media thickness??

The maschine and therefore the belt speed ist related to the media thickness.
I have seen such behavior on several canon clc 3200, so i would have a close look on it

                See attached

Clean the MUSIC sensors, these can get dirty! They will case a line position adjustment (MUSIC) error.

Any SC codes? (Print SP5990 04)

Could (?) be the belt speed sensors

                pspahr...

Learn "Mirror Unit for Skew and Interval Correction"... Impress the trainer!!!!

(Motors move the barrel toroidal lenses to adjust the image position for the COLOURS.... NOT black)

                  Hi all,
For me that looks like a color registration error. Did you try Sp2111 (Forced Toner position)?
I use that Sp where colors are not on the top of each other

Belt speed sensors are under the rear edge of belt. There is a metal plate about 1x2 in. that pinches the belt to surface of the sensors. Remove the plate and lift up the belt to access them. Use alcohol on them (also the MUSIC sensors) to help alleviate toner sticking to the lenses.
