    scanrouter question, auto-resume services?

hi all, first post here. i have a question regarding the scanrouter v2 software. every night at 11pm when a backup is performed, the scanrouter services are suspended - since it doesnt look like the "resume services" option in the admin console refers to the actual scanrouter service (in windows services), i havent been able to figure out a way to turn this back on automatically without having to touch the box every morning. is there any way to automatically resume delivery services at a specific time?

    thanks
    joe

i think in scanrouter there is no time to be set to resume the service.... its a problem if you have a 24 hours office and need to use scanning after 11pm but if none a few clicks in every morning to up the service is not a hard work i guess....
fix the customer first then fix the machine... its simple and makes life more easy.

You could try using Task Manager to set up a time to run Resume Services there should be an executable in the ScanRouter Folder. Or hop over to the Connectivity Forum and see if there someone there willing to write you a script.

Depending upon the backup software you are using...many will stop certain programs and then run them upon completion of the backup.

        Good Luck!

Look for this: DdsLaunch.exe That is the program that starts the delivery Services.

thank you very much, I think I'll be able to put something together using that.
