hi all, I read on an other site that replacing toner and dev to 20/30 series together with toner motor has been solving this problem. have not yet tried it personally but will look into it. As for the cleaning the mag roller I use a liquid from Dreausicke called toner remover and it dose wanders.Voluntary assistance can be your greatest gift once you do not degrade the recipient.

Originally posted by tcs04Ricoh will recommend you clean the PCU, but, shouldn't be a problem so long as you slide a sheet of paper between the units before initialising the dev.
But I don't take the toner recycling coil cover off the top of PCU as the RTB suggests, that is to much hassle.
I just flip the PCU over and manually turn the small toner recycling gear with my finger and gently shake it out cleaning the collection blades as I go.
Another tip for these models is be sure to empty the reg roller cleaning unit / mylar and check the PCU and dev unit foam entrance seals are not damaged at every PM (a main cause of toner leaking all over the inside of the door and into tray 1).- Knowledge not shared, is eventually knowledge that becomes lost... like tears in the rain.
