2232c jamming between fuser and internal tray

jamming constantly between the fuser unit and the internal tray. jam code is 063= external tray. all rollers are clean and sensors cleaned. what can it be? ive tried different paper trays and different orientation and still jamming. also put fresh ream of paper in aswell.

    fuser unit gears are ok.

Most of the time it has to do with the mylars on the duplex unit. roll a pc of paper thru manually and you'll find it.

OK, I mean the inverter unit, everthing that exits the fuser section goes thru the inverter, except maybe the internal tray. Does it jam going into the internal tray?

its jams when it goes through the inverter but it always seems to just stop when its on its way on to the internaltray. i was thinkin it might be the rollers on the unit of the laft side of the fuser unit. eventhough i did clean them.

Are any of the pages dog-eared when you pull them out.

If it just stops it has to be a sensor or some sort of drive problem. Test all the sensors in input mode, if that fails replace all of them that deal with the paper path in that area. Also, check any junction gates in the inverter unit to see if they are sticking.

Have you used the input checks yet? 5803-6 bit 0 is for the external tray exit sw and 1 is for the fuser exit sw.

i somehow managed to get some copies through without jamming but few hours later it jammed again. ive not checked under input. if a sensor is not working what am i expecting to see in input mode.

Just look for a change of state when you actuate/deactuate the switch. Ricoh is not know for getting the 0 or 1 correct. Dont confuse the inner tray exit switch with the tray full sensor in the same area. The tray full sensor has a Big actuator.
