    Ricoh 3245c

i have a ricoh 3245c color copier, there is a admin user and password on all 3. is there a way to unlock/remove this user? ok here is where im at... i need it to connect to a network. looks like the network card is disabled. i really need help...

thanks to those who have helped me on this copier/printer. i still havent sloved the problem but im on the right road ( i think). i have been working on copiers for 10years now and i am not sure about Ricohs. i just need this thing to have the printer enabled so i can have it on a print station network. i can not give it an IP address or have the server detect it. so im stuck. i belive it is in a user lock down. again thank you for all your help

clear mode key, 1 0 7, hold down clear/stop key for 3 seconds. this will get u in to service mode press copy sp, go in 5610 4 and press recall.
**this will set the machine to factory settings**

Please restrain yourself from posting the SP access procedure in the open forum...end users get access to this and really muck up the equipment!!

Relax! This firmware injection won't hurt...but it will take 45 minutes.

.... AND, if you do, at least give the correct info!!!!

SC7-810 resets the Key operator code!!!

SC5610 4 may reset all sorts of nasty things that are not specified in the list such as unit counters, pcontrol settings, etc!!!!

Amen! End users with one post basically asking how to break into a machine. Jeez if I go to a honda forum asking how to hotwire a car will all the mechanics there helpfully inform me of the finer points of it?

For someone with 10 years of working on copiers you should know to check out the user manuals. Get them. At least with the newer models, they will tell you how to deal with the admin accounts. Look for the security manuals.
