    Gest. Dsm 725E Ghosting

This is the second time I replaced fuser rollers and still getting ghosting. I am starting to think it is the DV. Is it possible? To make sure is the DV for the DSM725E - B1219640?

    Thanks for your help.

You're right about DV part number.
Do you use genuine roller and toner ? I've had a lot of problem with katun hot rollers. Check your SMC report.
Inspect the lower frame of fusing unit. Sometimes the plastic rib (usually in the right hand side) that supports bearing is broken. Try to change both thermistors. Check fusing lamps (black rings). There is no reason change DV if you don't have bad copies.

Fuser Rollers as in Hot Roller, Pressure Roller and Cleaning Roller? Easy way to tell what is Ghosting. Make it jam before it hits Fuser.

If Ghosting Before, Its the DV. If Not, Fusing Frame maybe bent, we've seen this before if a previous tech dropped it or a customer removed it.

Make sure you are using the correct heat roller: AE011103 (latest number)

If you use the 220 type (AE011048), it will definitely ghost as they are thicker

Also on some of the 2022 series we had to lower the fuser temp to 158 degrees even when using OEM rollers.
Seems the higher temp 165 degrees was causing toner build up on the heat roller.

Is it ghosting or offset from the hotroller?
It's a known issue that in a low temperature environment first copys or prints tend to ghost/offset when machine is in energysave mode.
This is cause the first heating up after energysave mode is 10 degrees higher and then machine returns to normal temp.
You can override-change this in SP.
