Ricoh 1232C bad quality prints

What happens when the lens unit has to be replaced? Who pays for that?What happens when the cleaning drive assy has to be replaced? Who has to pay for that?

Lens unit?? we have got about 200 of these in the field and replaced maybe 2 lens units, for about 90 euro.
and about the cleaning drive assy, these will go a long way .... if you clean them every time you are doing service. same as the fixing unit, clutches, corona, laser unit etc. etc.

We also have about 200 konica machines in the field
The print quality is outstanding but... we have more complainig of these machines

And now we are replacing the 224's for newer nrg mpc machines... these are all crap.

I know these arent the best around but.. there aren't many alternatives...
please tell me if you know one.(cheap and easy to maintain)...

Yes new! we are talking about refurbished machines
and we charge 90 euros for it (refurbished)

thats my point.... because these machines are cheap, there also cheap to maintain.
For a konica we charge 500,-

I'm sorry i meant take one of a second hand machine...

But the only complains we get from these machines is slow pdf printing.

overall they are pretty happy with these machines.
(Happier then our konica or mpc clients)
