    MP4000 Jam004

Hi everybody! I have a MP4000 thats jamming from tray 2 (J004). I have changed the feed rollers, swapped the paper trays around, cleaned developer roller, nothing worked! Can anybody please assist?

    Jams

    Hi
Have you had a look at the Roller clutch gear - AB01 1218. I know these give problems on the MPC's, especially when using heavier stocks.
Worth a look. Tray two is the difficult one to work on too.

The jam is intermittent. If I remove tray 1 I can see the paper being feed from tray 2, and it looks like the paper is being fed only a cm or 2 and then gets stuck. I cannot see any obstruction in the paper path.

I will check the stock and change the paper orientation in tray 2. Is it SEF or LEF? Replace the torque limiter if separation roller is goodvand if tray 1 does not give you any problems.

I have solved the problem. The feed clutch was full of developer.
