I unboxed this machine and as soon as I turned it on got an SC540. Fusing/exit motor not turning. Fuser turns easy, motor turns easy. 24vs3 @ pins 10 and 11 plus 5V @ pin 6. Reset connector there and on the BCU. No dice.
I see a fusible link on the motor board and while it doesnt read open, it does read a high resistance. I found another motor in there with a fusible link and it reads 0.
I checked all the interlocks with the input checks and they seem to be working.
It looks to me like a bad motor but I'm just wondering if there is something, a sensor or something that is keeping this bad boy from firing up. Mainly because it is a new machine.
This is the model where they left out the "Detailed Description" section in the SM
Any thoughts?
