    Ricoh Aficio 2090 developer unit

Does anyone out there with a current Ricoh Aficio 2090/2105 parts list have the part number for the Developer Assembly? I have a Toshiba Estudio 900 that is it's counterpart and I need a new unit. Toshiba's part number is B0703102. The last number I have from the Ricoh manual is B0703101 which updated from B0703100. This is from May of 2003. My unit from Toshiba is backordered and there is no eta. I have been waiting since the 20th of March. I can order it from Ricoh if it is the same number. My parts list from 2003 has all the same part numbers as my current Toshiba one except for the unit assembly itself. I am sure it is the same since all the individuals are the same but I want to be sure. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Also, if you work on these models (either the Ricoh or Toshiba), what is you average lifespan of the developer unit before replacing. Toshiba manual states 8 million but all other techs I speak with say 2 million is the max. Just wanted to see if anyone has more input on this. Thanks again.

We normally replace the complete dev unit around the 1.5m mark.
But it depends, we will evaluate how clean it's running at each PM.

The 3102 should be current. If you order from then mother ship she will send the most current part # if the # you order is superceded. I've had these DV unit run from 400K to 4 mil. case by case kind of like DaZ say's
