    Postscript 3 SD for Ricoh 2090 required

    HI,

    I am stuck with my customer demand, we are in print outsourcing and they want us to install either a PS 3 module or fiery controller. please advise what would be the cheapest option, i have one PS3 SD card available but have four machines, can I simply copy the SD and install?

      No, it has to be a seperate SD card for each machine as each card has it's own licence key. I'll be honest, I don't know much about Fiery's but I would imagine you'd still need the PS option to print PS files even with a Fiery?
      It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

          Many thanks, actually availability is a big issue and we have just few days before start of printing. I have suggested ghostscript as an alternative. I believe PS 3 SD card contains a program e.g some BIOS codes. I want to know how to copy and use it. has anyone tried it yet??

              Yeah, as I said in my previous post you can't copy an existing PS card and use it in 3 machines. It's either buy the Fiery or order 3 PS cards I'm afraid.
