Try SEF, does it still jam?

It'll either be the reg clutch or the paper is catching the PCU shutter (tear it off).

        Hope this helps!

I think there's a black mylar on the base edge of the PCU that gets bent

                door

on the left hand door, there is an actuator that opens the drum shutter, sometimes this will break and cause the drum shutter not to open completely. Check that to insure the shutter is opening completely

Does it do it from all trays? Is the paper squared up nicely in the tray? Have you checked that the side fences in the tray haven't lost any teeth, i.e. If you open the side fences fully and then push them together, do they both fences move towards each other?

I have it on a regular basis where the teeth on the side guides, underneath the metal plate, get boken and everything looks fine, but the paper is sitting too far back in the tray. This causes it to snag on the workings as it passes throught the pcu.... Worth a look.

Leave open the side door and trick the door switches. Machine should run and you should see if reg roller is turning. Of cause the machine will jam but you will have a better view. I belive may be reg clutch. Try A4r, see if that will feed.
