    MPC3300 banding with heavy stock

    Hello there.

I don't have much experience with this model, but I've got a customer with a brand new machine who's going to do some heavy stock, and the machine is making some noticeable banding on the cross direction - nearly two-thirds from the begining of the paper.

Any ideas of how can I try to solve this?

What weight are they trying to put through it and are they changing the paper type settings to the correct ones, i.e. cardstock, thick paper etc.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

I am with TonerMunkeh on this one. Use the by pass tray and set it up for Heavy 3.

Although these boxes do handle some pretty heavy stock from the regular trays too...

Is the banding any particular color or a mix of all of them? Does it only do it on heavy stock and out of a particular tray? copy job or print job?
