Looks like your machine doesn't detect the network part of the controller board. I think you have a faulty controller pcb.

Have you tried connecting a laptop to it with a crossover cable?

make sure you didnt change sp5985-001 0=disable 1=enable this turns your nic card on and off. if its a 0 you wont see file transfer tab or interface setings tab just make it a 1 and you will be all set

I agree, sounds like a bad controller if the SP mode is ok. It's possible for a storm, or power surge to short out just the Nic part of the PCB. I've seen that on Canon and Fierys.

before you change an expensive contoller board, i would suggest you to make a full reset. give it a try

plug out the controller board and put it back again?
                  sometimes it's might work.

                    Hello
I had this on a new install. Turned out the Wirless 801.1 .2 was selected on. This disconected the Nic card. In Sp mode under sp5 ???
Other then that you may be looking at a new controller. Just a quick minded surgestion, Is there a memory clear for the controller ? Good luck with it.

Yeah you can do a memory clear for the NCS for the machine.

FYI, we had a machine like this recently have its NIC controller die from a power surge through the network. Had it setup to print USB for a long while before we could get the Controller in.

Replaced 2 controller boards recently for bad nic's, but only one was a similar model - the other was a MP2550
