    mapped network drive for smb scanning

    Have anyone try to use the mapped network drive for smb scanning under the peer to peer networking environment?
    please share your experience. thanks.

    You can't map a drive to scan to with a Ricoh (or most any) MFP.

    SMB works (with most models, anyway...), but you have to use the full UNC path to the desired folder.

      Ken is correct. You can map it with any drive letter you want, but for SMB you're using the UNC name & folder path. There's not even a need to map it unless it's not on the computer you're on.
