Ricoh suggests to use SD cards with 64Mbyte. This because when you insert it in the slot all the firmware in the card is uploaded in the RAM of the machine. If the RAM capacity is less than the sd firmware could be some problems. So the SD card capacity could be many Gbytes but the firmware on it must be less than the capacity of the machine's RAM.
