    MP 4000B SC819 issue

Ricoh MP 4000B/Aficio MP 4000B (code D009-27), serial no. M5482700815.

    I've got a SC-819 and 564d 2069, 7320 66756c error state.
Copier doesn't hold neither HDD nor any SD or RAM card (surpised a lot).

So when I try to insert SD with firmware, machine tells "Functional problem detected. Press Restart after the current process. Repeat settings after the machine has restarted.", than after reboot about 5 minutes of booting stops with 878-1 error. I can come into y107r menu and alter several settings, but most of them are "invalid parameter". Settings are not saving. I have downloaded NVRAM contents to SD card successfully. After getting SD out of it - returns old 819 code without any change

The questions is: do I have to order a new controller board, install hard drive or whatever else? Or I have wrong firmware?

If anyone who has access to firmwares could send me correct firmware (I don't now what to place in "romdata" and "D009" folder, just try to copy D0095160H.fwu in all of them). My email is alex.a.novo@gmail.com.

So i don't have any cheapier way either than buying new CB?
Don't even try to reload firmware or add HDD/RAM module to eliminate unsufficient RAM?

BTW I have only Engine firmware, ver. 1.05:05 for D0095160H

              To quote the service manual:

SC998: A RAM or DIMM option necessary for the application is not installed or not installed correctly.

Did you order the correct board too? There are a few different types for the MP4000/5000, relating to whether it's got a colour or B&W scanner.

With regard to the orignal thread topic (before it was hijacked), yes, the controller has had it. As I've said make sure you order the correct one.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

              Hit it.
