Rioch MP9001 machines are they reliable.

DOes anybody have MP9001 running that might have some input about this machines,

    are they reliable,
what kind of montly volume they can handle
can it be compare to the canon ir7095
would it handle having several users, who treat machines diffrently reffering to slaming doors, kicking drawers, droping paper in paper trays, and other known user beat ups.

is it similar to the ricoh EX906pro

any info would helpful. thank you

One of the best by far. Only down side is they take several different PM parts to their slower sisters. It's pushed my car stock up a bit anyway!
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

      Hit it.

They are great but I looked at the brochure for the Canon and I would say the Pro 907 would be more comparable to that one. You need to look at what you need for finishing and paper input too.

I have an account that does 80k a month but all they do is saddle stitched 8.5x11. The sales guy was going to try and sell them a 9001 but then they pretty much would have ended up with 1000 sheet paper input and the lower duty finisher. I recommended (which they actually went with) a Pro 906 with a plockmatic and a wide lct.

I don't think there is anything wrong with running it faster people just need to understand the difference between copies per minute and recommended monthly volume. I have had some 5500's replaced with 5000's because "it's only 5 ppm slower so it should be ok"

Get a pro906ex or a pro907ex. These machines are really awesome! You can run them for 400K without a hitch! My customers love them. There is a little learning curve on the App's., but they really run well. Well worth any extra money when you need to get a job done even if it is above your normal volume. In my opinion they are a big step above a Canon 7105. Just do the pm's and they are a tech's best friend!

Great machine, looses copy quality but if you MOD it to the MP9000 tube spec it will run like a dog... Super high black quality.

I was trying to push the sales guy for the 906ex but they wanted to start slow with MP9001 as they refer, there was a major price diffrence around $4000.

Hear some comments that the toner auger sometimes can not keep up with the machine speed. Creating cake up toner or mess, any body hear about it.
