    aficio 3025 web monitor

    Hey,
    is therer a bit switch or somethuing to turn on the web browser to monitor the fax rx?
    or do i need a delivery program to run with it??
    i know there is one to stop the print of incoming fax rx (switch 21 bit 3?) but i need to turn on the web monitor so they can go paperless, the fax forward to folder is at a loss due to a fired IT guy who left with out saying good by(and took the passwords w/him) so im trying to help the client out till they get a new IT guy.

      Web Image Monitor is accessed by entering the 3025's IP address into a web browser and is always available. To go paperless most setup scan to folder and monitor the folder. I have set machines to store received faxes to the MFP's hard disk and manage them with the WIM, though it is not a great solution IMO. The RX printing is stopped with switch 11, bit 6.

          Oh , sorry I realize the web monitor is available
          but there are no faxes in the fax section,, its constantly recieving yet there are no faxes in the web monitor
          this is what im asking, is there some reason there not there?

              You have to SET the FAX reception mode to STORE. This is nothing in the FAX FORWARD funcion but close to it. Then all incomming faxes will go the the HDD and be viewable, downloadable or printable.

                  where is this done? in the service fax section, or is it a bit switch?
                  or is it in the fax feature's?
