    SR790 Finisher for Savin 8055

So I've got an SR790 Finisher that the customer has abused to the point that the Paper Height Sensor Actuator was popped off. Reattached, but still as soon as you turn the machine on the Shift tray lowers all the way down and pops the gears trying to continuously lower. I am sure this has something to do with those two sensors thinking there is paper in that tray. I tried to trick the sensors by putting something in between them and still no luck.

Are we talking ruined sensors and bad arm? If you look at parts manual there is supposed to be a spring on that arm. Couldn't find that anywhere.

Doesnt the spring keep the actuator out of the sensors?Or at least one of them?Have you tried paper in one of the sensors and not the other?Cant remember which is the home position for that finisher.

We have at least 8 finishers working without the spring. Is the actuator compleet? (two flags)
When the actuator is hanging free it should be in the upper sensor the table goes down. When it's lifted out of the upper sensor it should be working fine. Beware: there is a sensor behind the foamrollers. Still in place? (upper limit switch)
