    Dsc 428 Black Dev Unit

    Put a new Black Dev unit into machine two days ago, same fault has occured blank patches, as if dev burnt out. ???

      Sounds like the developer clutch needs to be replaced. Pretty common, clutch doesn't release and the developer gets depleted in no time. Part #AX200273

          +1 on that.
          Check for diagonal bands in solid areas and if dev unit feels very light, definately faulty clutch

              Yup, we have those clutches go bad on older machines all the time. Put a new black DV unit when you replace the clutch as well.
