MPC2050 - Internal Finisher issues

    Well known problem with plenty of them out there. First of all , the shaft which a stapling unit moves on is not lubricated-greased on production line . So what needs to be done to get it working just lubricate the shaft and problem disappears. I have had to do at least 5 and all of them ok since.
    Another common problem on the paper exit section , check the timing pulley (section 10 part 8 ) as in plenty of machines one of them is installed upside down , mostly the front one. As u may see on parts catalog they should be in the same position.

        As for the lubrication on the stapler's shaft, I've been doing that since the first time I got this problem - even before posting on this forum. About the pulleys, by looking at them it seems that everything is in place - the belts rotate accordingly and I see no apparent anomalous movement, so I'm assuming everything is in place - I'd like to ask you if it's obvious when they are misplaced?

            Yes, there is quite obvious if the front one is misplaced. Chec a parts catalog - section 10 and you should see the proper direction of install
