    Headache with Savin 3335

    I am having reoccurring error SC 541 and 542 with my customers Savin 2535
    Pleae Help

    Thermistors, Thermostat (or does this old one use Thermofuse)?

      Or the hot roller. Or, as an outside guess, the connector block on the back of the machine where the fuser plugs in

        Yep Worn Hotroller, true, I just rarely have that happen since maintenance occurs usually enough. If it doesn't we do Courtesy Calls on customers who don't call in enough.

        As for the Fuser Plug. What a PAIN!, but I've seen it 2x in past 4 years.

            If you put when a PM is done on the Paperwork, and the Secretary enters that in the Field E-Automate will let you know when the Next PM is due. We keep digital and manual paperwork on all work that is done.

                    Try changing the double ended connectors the thermistors plug into (Red connectors clipped to the frame). These can deteriorate and cause misdetections.

                      I agree with tcs04. Thermistors are always heating and cooling. bad connection.
