    Has anyone else seen this???

I am having an issue here and was going to see if anyone has seen this or maybe have a fix for it.
The machine is a Ricoh 3025 with a SR790 finisher. The problem that I am having is when it is stacking multiple sheets (10+ ) for stapling. When I cheat the door, I can watch the paper being stacked, as it comes up through it falls back down into the stacker. The very last page comes up through but doesn't make it all the way down into the stacker therefore not getting stapled. I have replaced the sponge gathering roller (B4082435) thinking maybe it didn't have enough grip to tap that last peice in but it didn't fix it. Has anyone seen this before? Thanks in advance!!

First at all, make sure, that you have at least Rom Version 3.04 installed (B4085135); latest Version is 5.07 (B4085161)
Second, eliminate Static buildup by proper connecting the metal Frames between Host Mashine and Finisher
Third: I have seen on Finsihers with high mileage, that the inside of the joggers getting cuts from the sheets, if they are deep enough, they are able to get one or more sheets stuck.

Yep, seen this one. Like Herrman it turned out to be deep paper cuts in the plastic joggers.

Clean and lube side guide rails. Should do a double tap after each sheet lands.
Sticky rails throws the timing off, slowing down the last sheet timing.
Why do they call it common sense?

If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?

Hey guys, thanks for the replies. I have checked the guides for grooves cut in and they are smooth. And YES, they look like a booger to replace.

The box has around 250K copies. When it gets to the last sheet that doesn't quite make it down into the stacker, I stopped the machine and the paper has a static cling. I have checked the finisher mounts to insure they are making good contact. Hmmm......
