Aficio 2035/2045 charge roller blade problem

Hi! I just want to ask about the charge roller blade of Aficio 2035/2045. We have some case here that everytime we check the PCU especially when we try to clean the cleaning blade, drum or the PCU itself after we assemble it and run the machine, the black lines appear now which comes from the charge roller blade. What seems to be the problem? Is the charge blade that sensitive? Is there a way to prevent the lines from appearing? How often should we replace the charge roller blade? Thank You Very Much!

this related with machin`s count. usually after 250000 you must check it and in 750000 replace it . but my 2045 is on 1300000 and until I have not problem with it !!

Remove the 2nd cleaning blade. It is not needed, and has been deleted on new models.

The blade No2. is rated at 150k - is comes as part of the 150k maintinence kit- there is a process you have to go through when taking the drum out with regards to the tension springs on the blade. It is shown by the stickers on the drum unit. haven't had any problems with the blade number 2 causing any lines have had some new drum cleaning blades cause lines in the past.

This part was not removed in the later models as far as I am aware, I have worked on 3045 and this also has blade number 2 in.

This blade was removed. We used to not remove them, just cleaned them, but it was always evident that they would accumulate gunk on them which would then transfer to the charge roller. By the way, this is not a charge roller cleaning blade, when installed properly it rests on the drum. Once they took them out of the newer models, I removed them from every machine I worked on that has it. The design of the PCU in these machines has not changed significantly in years, and the early models never had the 2nd blade.

The 2nd drum cleaning blade is not installed in the models mp4000 - mp5000 . Models like aficio mp4500 and so on have this blade installed, but is better remove it just like Fearless V K suggests.

They did at first.

On the older machines, we also remove the drum stripper pawls - they only scratch the drum - the paper doesn't even curve towards the drum anyway and we've never had a problem with paper going into the PCU.
