    aficio 1013 paper feed

    hi to all,

i recieve one aficio 1013 with a small problem... when i make a copy the paper feed when is coming out from fusion. half of paper stays on the fuser and other half out of the machine.
Probably the sensor is damage, i already open the fusor, clean the sensor and still have the same problem.
Where i can get the part no of this sensor? or where i can get it since im my county we don not have many options to buy this kind of parts.

    Thanks in advance

Check and make sure the machine is programmed for the correct size paper. If the paper size is mismatched, it will cause this.

this is very common on these models 1013,1515 and 161's. The fuser exit sensor is dirty. Remove the fuser, blow the sensor out with canned air. If the machine is in a really dusty environment this will happen on a monthly basis. if cleaning the sensor doesnt work then replace it. You need blow air into the small slit on the sensor as the eyeball inside gets covered in dust.

paper freezes and gives this message: clear misfeed A.
looks like registration sensor or exit sensor damage.

I dont believe that the problem is becouse of paper size.. this machine have only one paper tray and i already check all configurations of paper settings and all are ok. i remeve sensors, i clean and i put back on place and i still have the same problem.
              Any other ideia?
              regards.

Replaced the paperfeed clutch. AX20 0234. Or swap it with the one that the bypass use, they are the same. It is not the paper that is at the exit that is the problem, it the next one.

Replace the exit sensor, I've seen these fail. Sometimes you can get the board out of the black casing, clean and align the emitter and detector directly and resolder the connections and often these will begin to function again. It's a PITA, but if you don't have a new one...

Tomorrow i will try to get a new sensor and see if i can fix the problem because today i try all and still have the same problem.
clean all sensors, change clutch, check all parts one by one, follow manual and nothing.

What happens if you copy out of the bypass?
