Prior to Service, was informed by the owner hat Copier was in storage and was acquired "second hand' with almost 700,00 copies . It was in deed of a thorough cleaning of all rollers along with the rest of PM. After this was performed, had a light copy, suggested a Developer change since no documentation was found for the unit. This along with the SC was performed. Machine produced 20 good copies.
I received a call again on the copier come to find out it had a bad paper jam and, they informed me that it was making a "single clunking sound". I removed the paper jam and re cleaned all the feed rollers. I powered on and ,no console, the secondary power would blink at LED on and off with the clunking sound.
Opened the back cover and on the Main board inside the LED was orange an flashing along with the Network connection....same color and flashing on and off.
Opened the lower rear cover where Tray 3&4 are and the clunking was the lift motor trying to initialize
Main motor not turning,(can move the motor manually okay with cluster) I read for this I should check the Fuses on the main Power board. If they check out check the HVB.There are 4 wies connections are Tout 1,FB 2,Bout B, and Cout C. To check with power on for 24V, Pos lead per each and Black on any ground? Also with the Main Motor, What connections are one all of them, to HV board, in the same manner? Svc is very vauge and need to know what common problem or what would it be to solve this,...Any help woud be appreciated,Thank you inadvanced,Steve
