Savin 2535P no power to initialize

Prior to Service, was informed by the owner hat Copier was in storage and was acquired "second hand' with almost 700,00 copies . It was in deed of a thorough cleaning of all rollers along with the rest of PM. After this was performed, had a light copy, suggested a Developer change since no documentation was found for the unit. This along with the SC was performed. Machine produced 20 good copies.
I received a call again on the copier come to find out it had a bad paper jam and, they informed me that it was making a "single clunking sound". I removed the paper jam and re cleaned all the feed rollers. I powered on and ,no console, the secondary power would blink at LED on and off with the clunking sound.
Opened the back cover and on the Main board inside the LED was orange an flashing along with the Network connection....same color and flashing on and off.
Opened the lower rear cover where Tray 3&4 are and the clunking was the lift motor trying to initialize
Main motor not turning,(can move the motor manually okay with cluster) I read for this I should check the Fuses on the main Power board. If they check out check the HVB.There are 4 wies connections are Tout 1,FB 2,Bout B, and Cout C. To check with power on for 24V, Pos lead per each and Black on any ground? Also with the Main Motor, What connections are one all of them, to HV board, in the same manner? Svc is very vauge and need to know what common problem or what would it be to solve this,...Any help woud be appreciated,Thank you inadvanced,Steve

you may know already....sounds like a 5v line is trapped. ( I had this after replacing the scanner assem, and trapping the wire for fuser exit sns. ) might be worth checking arond the feed station as this displays same error.
    good luck

Do you know where the interchange unit is ? that is the part spaceman is talking about. If you take the scanner unit off and the cover on the right side under the scanner unit there is the interchange unit. A wire harness that connects to and exit sensor rubs on the shaft of a roller in the interchange unit and when the insulation wears through it shorts on the roller shaft and you get a dead machine.

I've seen this on the Ricoh 2035 and found that the screws to the HDD assy were not in and pushed the card assy on left side of copier in and power came back.

Disconnect all peripherals. i.e. duplex unit and system tray and then fire the machine up. I had something similar on a Ld232. Green light on panel no other function or life. After hours of struggling I disconnected all the peripherlas and Bobs your uncle, it came to life. I started to reconnect the peripherals one by one and when I reconnected the extra feed trays, it started to play up again. Turned out that tray 3 had become jammed in the up position and caused the sensor to freak out somewhat....? Also, last week had a Russian on a building site that they moved themselves, also this came up with just the lil' green light on the panel the eventualy said 'loading please wait' on the screen, after an age it registered an SC670. Again disconnected all peripherals, fired it up no problem and started to rconnect one by one, again it turned out to be tray 3 causing the grief. Rectified it and off it went......
