    ricoh mpc 4000 noisy

Hi guys.I have an mpc 4000 with an intermittent noise.I have heard it occur only once briefly and it sounded like a blade vibration.I put setting powder on all the drums but the noise re-occured.At my next visit I put setting powder on the transfer belt and am waiting to see if that works.Has anyone out there come across this?

Fuser bearings are a pain on these too. Don't try lubricating them, just replace them.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

      Hit it.

The only noises I get with these type of machines is sometimes the white plastic rollers on the exit unit get clogged up with dry toner and start to rumble, sometimes rather loud if really caked up in a bad way. Although this mainly happens on the mpc25/3000, looking at the parts manual the mpc 4000 looks a little different. But it could be worth a look at....
