fax forwarding to multiple users

Hi Guys

Any one can help me on fax forwarding to multiple users for MPC3000, for example

If I dial fax number+sub(A) code then the fax will be forwarded to user (A) mail box, and dial fax number+sub(B) code then the fax will be forwarded to user (B) mail box.

Unfortunately Ricoh mfps won't even let you forward to different destinations if you have 2 incoming fax lines. So I'm sure trying to do it with one is out of the question. At least without some type of 3rd party software or a firmware fix.

Think you can forward to a Folder and An Email.. I THINK.. but not two says two email addresses.

I've done this before, but it was a yr or two ago. I think you assign the "sub code" to the address book entry of the receiver. So if you have user A's email set-up, you go into their address book entry and assign their sub code to them there. I just don't remember if it's done under the User Auth tab or the Fax tab. You might be able to check the operator manual to make sure, but I know you can do it.

i have done it and it works fine, the issue before that i was using lan fax and the sub code is not supported in the lan fax.

global scan nx will be able to let you forward to 2 different destinations.

you can only forward to folder or email only. or a group of email address or group of folders.
if you want forward to email & folder. can consider forward to email together with auto doc link.

do you think most of the fax machines is having SUB code services? like brother, panasonic, HP extra.....?

Forward to a group instead of a single email address

Ask the IT administrator to create a email group and add emails of the multiple users that want the faxes to that group

Then just fax forward to the group email address on the copier
