First off what the heck is it and what does a 3-31H code mean? One of our customers who is a chuch has one of these around somewhere was asking and it would be nice if we could at the very least try and help.

This is one OLD OLD OLD OLD OLD Fax Machine, that doubles as a Copier. if I recall that is the PolgyGon Mirror Motor error. Interesting to replace. I think it cost a bit. Last time we had to order one (4 years ago) it took a while to get here direct from Japan I think. These machines aren't worth investing ANY Money into. Sell them an 917, 816 or used 3515. If they don't need fax an old used 2513 even
