    Aficio 3224c/3232c blurring image

The first 3cm of the image at the lead edge are blurred during full colour copying or printing. B&W fine. Tried a brand new pcu to no avail. All devs are good (black is very new). Have not seen this fault before but ricoh tech say it is caused by transport bracket and I need to change it. Has anybody else has the same fault and is the bracket easy to change??? TIA cheers

Yes the bracket assembly is likely the fix and I've seen it before. It takes some time to get the unit out, but there's not any tricks to getting it out other than dis assembly.

Agree with cobiray. Had this a few years ago, and replacing the bracket assy solved the problem. You must remove quiet a lot of parts, so reserve some time.
