    MP2000 on MAC OS X

    Hello, I install a MP2000SP, at a client who work on MAC OS 10.5.9.
    I managed to set the scanner. But I can not configure the printer.

    I tried different IP printing protocol:
    - DPA DAEMON
    - IPP
    - HP JETDIRECT
    I also download the latest version of Drivers provided by Nashuatec.

    But I still have the same problem! I print a page test, and the photocopier out several sheets
    white, or leaves with symbols.

    I can not find: x

      Do you have "postscript" installed in the MP 2000?

          You don't have postscript installed.
          the savin2535 is displaying well bet the hiter lamp is not shining and the lamp had been tested o.k.please kindly help.
          Samir: No, not again. I... why does it say paper jam when there is no paper jam? I swear to God, one of these days, I just kick this piece of shit out the window.

              I don't have postscript card installed on my MP2000. But I already tried to print on a MP1600, without the card and it worked.

                  You will need the PS option to print to Macs.

                      gutenprint for Mac OS it has a simple driver that will enable printing from your Mac with on need of a postscript card, just choose IPP printing put in an IP and it will find the driver the right driver by it self.

                              Take care when suggesting the Gutenprint drivers. I have found that they don't work with all models of Ricoh machines. Case in point: the MPC2050 / 2550. So be sure to check that your model is supported before attempting to install (or suggest!)

                                  Yes Sir! hehehe, in this case its a MP 2000 so It will work, As of what I know a MPc is a color machine, LOL...

                                          Hello. This is how I got working my Ricoh Aficio MP 2000 without card:

                                          Added printer with LPD protocol with Generic PostPrict Printer use. Works flawlessly with duplex also.

                                          Been using this for years. I just tested all possible methods years ago, then it just started working like this. Hope this helps others as well. Current Mac version: Ventura 13.6
