Have a problem can't figure out. it keeps coming up with fuser oil near end. I check the sensors and they detect oil in the tank, but this message keps coming up. I reset the counter and it goes away for a couple days then comes back. I seem to recall a tech bulletin about this problem, but can't seem to find anything on it now. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Try a new O/S unit. Make sure there is no kink in the oil supply tube from the pump. Pump may be failing. Probably the O/S unit tho.sigpic

I have replaced the fuser and O/S unit/cleaner/tank. The tank went low and i replaced the oil, the message went away then came back a couple days later..... another tech remembers this problem and there was something he said you had to do to siphon the system to get rid of air in the lines. e said there was a tech bulletin, but no one can seem to find anything about it. I was going to try the pump next. It's wierd though, I tried the forced oil supply, but it just goes immediately to complete. The manual says it will do this if the sensor sees oil. By the input check, the sensor is seeing oil in the fuser, but for some reason it just keeps coming up saying it's low. I did check all the tubes, no kinks and no oil being spilled or dripped anywhere that I can see.Comment

Near end will come up 50 copies after the sensor detects no oil. And you are resetting the counter so it sounds like oil is not being pumped the lower tank and after 50 copies the message is displayed again. Look at the input check #23 again and make sure it is toggling on and off. Raising the OS unit out of the photocell should trigger is empty and visa versa. I know sometimes it OS will stay unlocked from the fuser and still be able to push the fuser back into place.sigpic
