    Savin 4015 paper buckle

Have a savin 4015 that when feeding paper through adf length wise (8 1/2 " fed through 1st) image comes out fine. But when fed through opposite way, on top leading edge, the paper seems to catch or buckle. Have examined thoroughly and cannot seem to find anything in the paper path. Paper gets pulled through evenly when fed both ways. The catch or buckle is slight on the image, but it is there.

Make sure that the adf hasn't been adjusted to the max one way or the other for skew. It should be fairly square with the scanner. Also if the optics have been recently cleaned make sure that the left side scale has been reinstalled right. I left one side sticking up slightly and caused this problem myself when I was in a hurry.

problem has been fixed; plastic guide on back side of ADF was not snapped all the way into place, was easily overlooked. Thanks for the suggestions!!!
