    Transfer Paper??? Savin C5050

Anyone ever try Transfer Paper for T-shirts on a Savin copier that doesn't use an oil supply cartridge? We have a customer wanting to run this kind of paper through a Savin C5050.

I'd try it on a showroom machine first, keep a spare fuser on standby.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

Yeah I figured there would be fuser reliability issues. We have a C2525 on the showroom floor that may function similary, although slower speed.

        from Ricoh TSC Brian

From what we have seen here it's going to jam in the fuser without the oil supply like the old machines.
So yeah gonna tell customer NO

I bet they try anyway. Do you have a spare fuser handy?

Nope, no spare fuser ready, one we can rebuild. I sent them a screenshot of what TSC replied/said. If they do it, hey they can suck up the price of us overnighting A) A new fuser, B) Fuser Rebuild Parts.

Our company is small so we don't keep a lot of parts on hand unless we know we will need them soon.
