Customer wants to print from EMR which is Electronic Medical Records from their computer to either their Ricoh Aficio 2045eSP or their Ricoh Aficio 3035 but they can not print from EMR. What I've read off the internet is that EMR was the medical fields way of going paperless, but apparently they still need to print from it. I was wondering if anyone has come across such job that requires a copier to be setup to print from EMR and if so can either of these two copiers I listed above be used to print from it? Any help appreciated, thank you.

Do you have any more details on the software package? I've googled it and can't find anything. It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.
Hit it.Comment

I've had some Experience with this software. There are many different versions. Some versions are local network and the printer you want to print to has to be the default printer on the "server". Some are just local and the software looks for the default printer on Each PC. Some versions you have to configure from the File Menu. And yes I think some of the new versions are remote host dial ins and the HOST has to have the Printer Driver installed.
It really just depends on what version. EMR offers support, call them perhaps.Comment
