Problem With Ricoh Aficio 850 Light Copies

I have been working on my 850, we had problem with light copies and prints for the printer
replaced, the drum, developer and corona wire, still the same, very light print, anyone
have any suggestions where to go next?

Don't know anything about this, but there is a troubleshooting guide/Bulletin released by Ricoh on this model that has to do with LIGHT COPIES. Bulletin # 85

Sounds like poor earth on the drum shaft. remove flywheel, check the resistance betwen the shaft and brass contact, remove brass contact plate from hub, clean the contact brush, stick a rag throught the hole in the hub and clean the shaft. If this makes a difference but is not perfect change the hub / shaft assembly.
