I am about to get rid of Konica 8050. Any comments about Ricoh 5560 who be helpful

Though that model has been replaced with the MPC6000/7500, I find those to be pretty solid machines. Just like an automobile, any model has its weak points, I would list the fuser and toner supply as somewhat occasionally issue prone. The fuser can fail occasionally (roller ruptures) depending on usage and the toner supply mechanism sometimes pukes out (clutch failure). Again, these are not occurrences on each one in the field, just things that a competent tech can fix with minimal downtime (if it ever occurs). Print quality and media handling are very good. But your primary goal should be to get a good service company that can handle any issues with trained techs, OEM parts and guaranteed response time .
