    Adf Multifeed MP2000le

    I've been having a problem today with an MP200LE. The DF is a DF2010 ARDF.

    More often than not, it's multifeeding from the DF. I've replaced sep roller, P/U, Feed belt, and even tried a new torque limiter. I really can't find anything obvious., the m/c's only done about 50k too.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

      One-way bearing, or mess with feed belt to sep. roller tension.
      Don't take that toner with me!

          Feed clutch could also be at fault, but I'd agree with Fearless, sounds like a one-way bearing.
          It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

              Thanks guys

              It looks like there's good contact with the feed belt and sep roller, so I'd prob go with the bearing. Didn't really think of that with it still being quite new.

              Will lubricating the bearing be good enough or just swap it out? I should have another DF I could rob if I need to. Ta!

                  I'd swap the DF and bring the duff one back for testing purposes. Just replace any DF bearing too, a fix will hold temporarily then the problem will rear it's ugly head again.

                      Yeah I had a look and the only df 2010 we've got is still boxed but about to go out. I've ordered the bearing which should be here today, so fingers crossed that'll nail it. Cheers
