Thanks Eric - thats the exact bulletin I have been thru tho, and when it didnt work I replaced every component it mentioned -
• BCU
• NVRAM
• Imaging Unit (LD Unit)
• Transfer Belt Assembly
• PCU / Developer Units
• ID Sensors
Except the PCU's / Devs or the ID sensors......Comment

Also, I dont think its the ITB as the rollers have been cleaned spotless and it works fine in another machine.
Any other suggestions?Comment

I dont have the factory data sheet, but I cant do this as the Forced Line Position fails. Or should I try it anyway? Thanks for the suggestion tho.

Thanks Koosie, i lined up the grid perfect with SP's 2909 and 2916 but both the coarse and fine forced line adjustment still failed. Also the internal colour print SP1103-2 was all over the place and when I turned the machine off and on again the grid was back to its original position - way out - but the figures I had entered to correct the grid were still in their SP's.
So, new laser, new BCU board, new BCU NVRAM, new controller NVRAM, memory clear, known good ITB assembly, ITB rollers cleaned and shiny, ID sensors cleaned, grid lined up with SP5993's and 2909's and 2916's and still the forced line registration SP5993-32 and 5993-2 fails......whats left?Comment

It may also be a good idea to do a forced toner for each color. If the density is weak it will also have a difficult time seeing the lines.Net+ PDI+ @RemoteComment
