    Transfer Belts

I have had several cases of where the transfer belt has toner on it so I change the blade. However in a month or so the belt is holding toner again as it had before the new blade was put on. Could this be that I just have some bad blades, or do the belts need to be changed? Any help appreciated, thank you.

Check the counter lifespan of the transfer belt. if its over better you replace transfer belt together with the c.blade.good luck.

Check the condition of the rollers inside the belt. They will get a buildup of toner on them which can cause poor cleaning as it keeps the belt from riding flat on the roller. Also check that the springs which hold tension on the cleaning blade bracket have not broken out of the tabs which hold them in place. If the belt is pitted, scored by lines, or contaminated (black) from toner, then it may be the cause.
Don't take that toner with me!

I think they are talking about a Ricoh. Maybe Savin.
