mpc 4500 black toner not loading. HELP!!

first of all i suspected that the toner might be faulty. toner was changed twice including eith a compatible toner bottle.
i then thought of vacuuming out the toner hopper area and around the pump. nothing.
    developer has aready been changed.
i then took out all of the pcu's and transfer unit and layed sum paper underneath the toner pumps. tripped the door switch. went into output check. turned on toner relay clutch, opened the black pump shutter and turned on the toner pump from output check and nothing came out. i tried the same for the magenta and a load of toner came gushing out. toner bottle is turning alright.
i took the back cover off and VAC'D OUT the pipes. still nothing.

i replaced the toner pump and the nozzle assembly and nothing. looking atthe nozzle assembly i can see toner getting into the pipes but not reaching the other end into the toner pump. tried forced toner several times and nothing.

is there anything i might have missed out?

also i have a message at the bottom of the screen saying independant toner supply something something.

I've seen the gear that drives the dev. unit wear out, but you usually hear a God awful noise when that happens. You may want to get your point to point and a meter and make sure the pump is being energized.
Don't take that toner with me!

RFID board might have gone down. Did you cheat the door to make sure the bottle's turning or view it from taking the blue output tray off?

      Hit it.

Did you investigate the pipe if its pinched somewhere? Did you open the upper Toner Valve before vacuuming it out? (very important)

machine startd asking for toner when it already had some. it went in as a refurb. did about a 100 prints and started to ask for toner. pipe seemed ok. didnt have a careful look at it.

just want to thank everyone who tried to help. i have finally got to the bottom of this. the pump that i replaced was from another machine from the warehouse which was faulty too and tht had me thinking that it wasnt the pump. so i swapped the black with the magenta and the black started pouring toner and the magenta didnt.

For future reference, You can get a blockage in the pump / tube from bits of foam breaking away from the seal inside the toner bottle and passing into the tube.

                      Toner pump

I had one of these go last week. I tried swapping the two pumps (black and meg) around, couldn't get the pipe to locate properly.
I replaced the black pump with a new one and found that it took a rather long time to clear the 'loading toner' messege, to the point where I was starting to get worried I'd misdiagnosed......
