    Hi I have a MP9000 which i had install a new HHD unit into but the mashine does not pick up the new HHD unit so that it can be formated i have tride everything that richo suggested.

        Is it the same size? Also check and make sure you didn't bend a pin on the connection.

          evry thing on the m/c is 100% it just does not want to pick up the HDD

            Tis a possibility the new HDD is goosed, I had one the other day fresh out of the box. Do you have a 3.5" HDD caddy to try the drive in?
            It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

                Reload the controller firmware, if that doesn't work it's a new controller board I'm afraid.
                It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.
