    MP2550 produces light copies

    I have an MP2550 which is producing light copies, prints are OK. The solid black parts on the original are a bit grey / light on the copies. I've replaced the exposure lamp and the stabilizer board and updated the firmware, but no result.

    I'm thinking of replacing the lens block assy, but I'm not really sure. Any ideas?

      Just replace drum and developer... This has happened to a lot of people prints are ok but copies are light...It happened to me.that will fix your problem ...
