Ricoh Aficio 2090 Loss of Power

    Hi everyone,

The copier does not start up, the MAIN power light lights up but the ON light next to it does not. I do not have a screen. Does anyone know the order in which the power goes into the copier.

Any noise upon power up, printer goes through initial boot up/warm up routine or is printer simply quite with the one power indicator on ?

I had that happen one time. I ended up replacing the power supply PCB2 AZ250017, item 1 in the JPEG. You may want to verify the CB near the finisher on the left rear of the machine and reseat all cabling or possibly power up without any options connected, finisher, LCT, to verify problem is with the engine and not the options.

I was a little vague on the part about reseat all cabling. I should have said reseat all interface type cables, ADF, LCT, communications, etc-no internal cables. Sorry about that.

Check the 24v (and 5v) lines into the op panel. Are any fans running? Also try removing the data cables from the hard drives and see if the machine runs further into the boot sequence and shows a HDD code.
