Ricoh FT-4615/ Ricoh FT-4618 regarding User Codes

Hi! I Would like to ask if is it possible to put user codes on the machines like Ricoh FT-4615 and FT-4618? I've tried to cut the jumper wire on the board (JP101) then activate SP Mode 70 to 1 .....Nothing happens only U2 appear (key counter). I input the codes like 1101, 2202, 3303, ....etc. still nothing happens .

As far as I can remember, this is not possible on these old machines.

That will require an external "key counter" device. Along the lines of a coin op device or something simple like the little boxes with the 'odometer' that you would slap into a housing on the side of the copier.

i aggre to the tech here, it is not possible to activate the user code on this machine. only key counter. please dont enter other codes that you don't know or this might affect the performance of your machine. Peace
