    Ricoh MPC3000 SC443 Code

Okay, we took transfer belt assembly out because the machine was not transferring yellow. We found the yellow transfer roller knocked out of place and put it back in. Now we get an SC443 error. Any ideas why?

    Thanks

Maybe you damaged the encoder disk during your repair on the transfer unit, or you did not install the yellow transfer roller the right way. This SC has something to do with the belt rotation.

I agree with Eric1968. It is very easy to damage the belts when they are taken apart. Best and easiest thing is to just order a new transfer belt assy'.

I second that, the Athena seems prone to funny transfer belt issues, I've had them give this code when simply removing the belt during a routine service.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

        Hit it.
