Everything works fine, except I am getting an error when I hook up the finisher. The error code is SC764. The paper jams when I try to use the finisher. It is the SR3000 booklet finisher.

Check the punch unit for all connections fully seated and make sure there is no binding
SC764 (B)

1. Check the connections to the paper position sensor slide motor.

This may sound silly, but if this is a brand new finisher, make sure that all of the orange "lockdown" tape has been removed.
The factory tends to put it where it doesn't seem very likely.“I think you should treat good friends like a fine wine. That’s why I keep mine locked up in the basement.” - Tim HawkinsComment

yeah I think there is something wrong with the sensor or slide motor on the finisher. I am trying to figure it out. Thanks for all the advice. It does have a punch unit. The punch seems fine, but not sure til I can get the whole finisher to work.Comment

I think this is the code I got when I put the connectors in the wrong place, when installing the punch unit.sigpic

I unplugged the punch unit harness and it seemed to fix that problem. But then the paper misfed when it tried to feed the paper into the finisher. I will try removing the punch unit today.Comment
