Can the Fiery be removed and the print/scan SD card installed instead?

It appears doable, never seen it done. Looking at the Fiery installation (done pre delivery) it appears you would need to remove the extension card that the Fiery plugs into, reinstall a memory dimm on the controller (1 of 2 removed during setup), and set sp5-985-001 back to "1". Then it should only be a matter of installing the print option. -
